Brett Family in Tony Orlando Veteran's Show - Present Poem to Oliver North

Branson, MO - For the second straight year The Brett Family was a featured guest in Tony Orlando's annual "Yellow Ribbon Salute to Veterans" Show held on Veteran's Day 2008.

Andrea rendered a powerful recitation of her patriotic poem, I Am a Veteran, which was received with an immediate standing ovation.  Prior to her performance, Tony Orlando and The Brett Family presented a personal copy (engraved in wood) of the poem to esteemed broadcaster, New York Times best selling author, and patriot, Oliver North.  North was in attendance to receive a special award that evening and was appreciative of the gift.

Orlando - recording artist, actor, renowned patriot, and personal friend of The Brett Family - began his Veteran's show tradition in 1993 and it has become a highlight of every Veteran's Day in Branson, Missouri since.  The show, which took place at the Welk Resort Theater in Branson, is free for Veterans and their families.

Grateful once again for the chance to perform in such a meaningful event, The Brett Family is currently pursuing other significant opportunities to share Andrea's original patriotic compositions in hopes of spreading their message of patriotism and appreciation of Veterans on a national level.
