 The Bretts – Bio

The Brett family story began over thirty years ago, when Tom and Andrea sang their first duet together at a church dance in Spokane, WA. Shortly thereafter they married, saw Tom through chiropractic school, and moved to Dallas, TX where Tom became a very successful chiropractor while he and Andrea raised their three children, Briahna, Brydon, and Garon. Due to a severe neck injury Tom was forced out of chiropractic in 1996. Looking for a change, The Bretts auditioned to sing at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO and were immediately offered a contract to perform on The Showboat Branson Belle for the year 1999. The next year they started their own show on the Branson strip and have been a Branson tradition ever since. Now in their 13th season, The Bretts currently perform around 140 shows at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater in Branson and about 50 shows in locations all around the world every year.

The Bretts have been three-time guest artists of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. They have also been two-time guest artists on Tony Orlando’s Veteran’s Special, where Andrea presented her poem, I Am a Veteran, to Colonel Oliver North. Their show has received extended international television syndication on BYU-TV, KBYU, and other PBS affiliates. They have made appearances on RFD-TV, on the Jim Bakker Show, and on many other stations and programs worldwide. The Vocal Majority, the world’s most prestigious international men’s barbershop chorus, has hosted The Bretts twice as guest artists, and they have shared the stage with many other artists, from Lee Greenwood to Larry the Cable Guy. The Bretts have received numerous awards and nominations in Branson including, Best Family Show, Best Ensemble Entertainers, and Best Vocal Group of the Year. In 2010 The Bretts Morning Show in Branson was nominated for 21 awards*, claiming honors in 7 categories, including the coveted Best Morning Show of the Year award. The Bretts are full-time residents of Branson and can’t wait for you to visit them there some day soon.
